Beachwood Riding Academy;;
Welcome to Beachwood, a beyond excellent riding stable that offers many different disciplines, housing and actual school. Beachwood is located on the coast of Ireland, near a town called Ashbourne.
Beachwood has always been the "under-dog" Academy, but the students are determined to change their luck. With the Ireland Cup, the ILC [Irish League of Champions] and other top sporting events coming up; they are training harder than ever and trying to outmatch their rivals; Classic Knight, Mist Valley and Silversong Academy.
Beachwood is a literate, semi-advanced School/Stable roleplay set in the beautiful land of Ireland and with something for any type of rider. So, please come and try us out for size.

We will be adding and taking away some things until we work out all the kinks on BRA! So please, be patient with us. Also, we'd love to hear yours thoughts and suggestions on the site, so pretty please tell us. :]

Hey everyone! I'm Saige or "The Muffin Queen!", the Creator of Beachwood, but I had help from my awesome co-admin; Taylor!! <33 I'm a horse manic and have been since I was a little girl. I'm on a few other sites; Wolves Of The Wood, Rodeo and Condemned Descent. I've been roleplaying for about five or six years, but I stopped for a while and I've gotten rusty. Oops!
Feel free to ask me for advice, and I'm always here to talk to. Be it family troubles, boyfriend problems, friend problems, I've probably been through it and I'd love to help and give you a shoulder to cry on.
I beleive in respect, so if you give me that, you'll have a great time here! And so, I welcome you to Beachwood! Have a blast and keep things random and fun, the more interesting, the more fun! :]

Heyloo there! I'm Taylor, Beechwood's co-admin. As Saige has already mentioned, I helped her out with the site, but most of the credit should go to her. She made this site look absolutely epic. Remember to be nice to everyone, even if they annoy you. Tehe. And, if you have any problems, please don't hesitate to talk to me or Saige. We don't bite....well I don't anyway. Updates, Announcements and News! This is where you will find activity checks, announcements, updates and bannings. Other information may be added here also, we recomend you check here frequently. Moderators: Saige, Taylor
Creation (2 sub-boards) This is where you create your character. Please be as descriptive as possible and use proper grammar. You must wait for your character to be accepted before roleplaying! Moderators: Saige, Taylor
Other. (2 sub-boards) This is where you will find horses and people up for adoption, but this is also where the school horse bio's will be posted. You are allowed to request a school horse and play them for the time being, just as you are allowed to adopt other characters. Moderators: Saige, Taylor
The Classroom Yes, classes are offered here at Beachwood, though most don't take the classes because they'd rather be with the horses.
Each day, a different subject is taught for three hours. You may come and go as you please, or not come at all. It's all your choice if you want to come or not, and it's best to behave yourself... We have some strict teachers. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Dorms
Finding Your Home (4 sub-boards) There are four different dorm building with at least forty dorms in each. One to two people are allowed to monitor the students during the day and night. They are held responsible for the students and when someone gets in trouble, its the dorm leaders problem.
Some of the dorm buildings are nicer than others, but this is a high class Academy and all students get treated like royalty. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

The Stables
Beachwood Stables (2 sub-boards) The heart of the settlement, the stables house the various horses used throughout the region, from the school horses to those used in the various shows hosted within the local area.
Patrons and riders may keep their horses here, either as a temporary home for horses in transity, or as a permenant stabling.
There are two different barns for use, and a corral smack in the middle of the two. Horses can be boarded in either barn, seeing as no one is better than the other here. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX
Center Corral This should be an arena, but because it's between the barns, we've decided to classify it as part of the stables.
This corral is much like the outdoor riding ring, accept it has no eventing tools or props and is used for training, lunging and cooling down.
The ground is very sandy, but it's a bit harder packed than the arena's sand. It is surrounded by a white, wooden fence where people can sit and watch others. This can be used for teaching purposes or for demonstrations. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX
Wildheart Paddock A large stretch of grassy plains rounded off by a thick wooden fence to create an enclosure. Some shrubs, edible to horses, also pattern along the bright green grass.
Riders may take their horses here to cooldown, exercise or to simply let them rest. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX
Sacretor Paddock Another enclosure standing directly next to the Wildheart Paddock, Sacretor paddock is much like its sister paddock, except for the fact its smaller and has a more dirt-rockier landscape, with fewer plants and grass.
Riders may take their horses here to cooldown, exercise or to simply let them rest. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Riding Rings
Indoor Arena This is the indoor riding ring, or arena, and it differs from the outdoor one.
The indoor arena holds the pole-bending poles, and the jumping courses. It holds nothing else, and the jumps can't be moved, though the heights can be set differently. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX
Outdoor Arena This is the outdoor ring, and it differs from the indoor ring.
The outdoor ring is used for barrel racing, calf roping and other 'western' events, while the indoor ring is used for more 'classy show events'.
The ground is quite soft and very sandy, but be careful, when wet, it's dangerous and a horse can injure themselves here. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Trails and Courses
Shadowtwig Forest A large, surreal woodland covering a large area of the wilderness, Shadowtwig forest is residence to many woodland critters, and, if you're lucky (or unlucky) enough, you may catch sight of cougars or deer. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Wilderlands Trail A long, winding trek through a dense, forest-like countryside, the Wilderlands Trail is often used by many a rider. One can often sight wildlife, such as antelope, grazing upon the thick undergrowth of bush and shrubs that blanket the damp, soily region.
However, despite this being a leisure trail, there is an ever-present danger of wild predators which may prey upon unsuspecting trailblazers, hikers or riders. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Greenleaf Meadow A large stretch of countryside flanking the one side of the Wilderlands trail. Much like the paddocks, it is an open field, where flocks of sheep and cattle may often be seen. A few paths and trails lead through the meadow from the Beachwood Stables.
On rare occasions, small herds of wild horses may still be seen wandering this region of the countryside. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX
"Fire And Steel" Blacksmith The town blacksmith, the "Fire And Steel" offers buyers a wide variety of metal products; from horseshoes to nails to fencing, it may all be bought here with relatively cheap prices. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Clear Fox Cafe The Clear Fox has the best coffee and sweets in town, so if you're up for some sports watching, dating or just out for a cup of coffee, head over here.
Friendly waiters and waitresses are ready and willing to chat with you. This is the teen hang out, and also where most people come to watch horse events... Mostly because Ashbourne is a horse kind of town with very few cars. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Animal Clinic This is the Animal Clinic, and part time shelter. Here, they treat animals of all sorts and give yearly checks.
Come here when you have a sick animal, because they are rather cheap and would love to help you if your short on money. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX

Sagewood Bar This is the first bar in town, and here, you have to be 18 or older to drink.
This bar is rather large with barstools and many different tables, because they also serve meals. People flock here to see sporting events and other interesting things on the five massive T.V.'s. Moderators: Saige, Taylor, Xx.:{[N]omad}:.xX
